Ephesians 4:11 - Believers

God's vision for you!

Most of us love receiving gifts.

Yet, most likely, very few of us think of ourselves as God's gifts to the world, let alone to each other.

God has gifted each one of us individually and uniquely, so we can become His gifts to others.

This site has been established to help you discover your gifts and become equipped  for the ministry God ordained for you. This equipping is done through God's Word,  the work of the Holy Spirit, and ministry by fellow believers.

1 Corinthians 12

7 And the Holy Spirit gives each one a gift so that all people may be helped. (WE)  © 1969, 1971, 1996, 1998 by SOON Educational Publications

As you read and study God's Word you will be set free, transformed, and equipped. Please allow God to take you outside the boxes of your traditions, and set you upon the firm foundation of His Word.

As you come across scriptures on this site, please look them up in your own Bible, and meditate on them, so that you might: renew your mind,

be transformed,

be  blessed,and

be used mightily in His Kingdom.

Do you believe God has gifted you?

Do you believe God has an assignment for you?

What do you love to do in God's Kingdom?

Are you a believer?

On the site, believers are defined as those who believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins and have asked Jesus to be the Lord of their lives.

Jesus does not force himself on anyone. He gives us a free will, and the ability to accept Him or reject Him. If we accept Him and His free gifts, we become saved, born again, part of God's family, and children of the Living God. If we don't want this, God honors our free will.

Let's look at scripture to see if this is my opinion or God's will.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. NKJ

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”[f] 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” NKJ

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
NKJ

If you haven't prayed this yet, but would like to, you can talk directly to God, and tell Him the above, or you can pray the following prayer. There is no correct or wrong prayer. God knows your heart, and will bless you no matter how simple or eloquent your prayer is. Just believe that once you do this you will receive God's free gift of eternal life and you will be recreated into a totally new being.

Prayer

Dear Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for me. I believe You died because of Your great love for me, and not because of anything I did or didn't do.

Thank you for washing away all my sins, and making me a new creation in you. Since I didn't do anything to earn this, there is nothing I can do to loose your love and salvation. That is such wonderful news! I invite you to be the Lord of my life. Teach me Your ways, and help me to become all You've created me to be.

Congratulations!

You are now a member of God's family here on earth as well as in heaven.

Developing a Personal Relationship

It's important for all believers to develop a personal and intimate relationship with their Lord and Savior. We develop this relationship the same way we develop personal relationships with those around us.

Communicating is called prayer and is the same as talking to and hearing from God. We need to practice hearing God's still small voice. He also communicates with us through: discernment, dreams, visions, words of knowledge and words of wisdom.

Reading God's word teaches us about God and His great love for us. It also teaches us His ways which are not the same as ours. As you're learning you may have some questions. There are many answers out there. I would suggest you seek answers in scripture and not in man's opinions. You can Google any Bible question you have, and simply skim for scripture references - which are usually listed first. Plus, you can also check out these two excellent website for studying God's Word.

Assembling together with other believers is crucial.  God tells us not to forsake the assembling of the brethren. (See Hebrew 10:25) We need other believers to encourage us and help us along the way. We also need to be available for others.

We want to encourage you and help you to grow in your relationship with Jesus, the Lover of your soul.
